Evans is originally from Western Kentucky but has called North Mississippi home for more than twenty years. He graduated from Ole Miss in 2004 and spent more than two decades working in banking as a commercial lender. Evans is married to Julie Jones Wells, who is a partner in the law firm of Wells Butts Law PLLC, and is the father of two children, Reid and Elizabeth. Evans is an avid Ole Miss fan, enjoys hunting and traveling in his spare time.
